Certified Work Ready Communities (CWRC) Funding Application

Congratulations on the continued pursuit of your Certified Work Ready Community goals! 

Applications for funding will be accepted NOW through October 31, 2024 (or until funds are obligated). Once your application has been submitted to the Missouri Office of Workforce Development, it will be reviewed and the contact for your application will be notified of the status within three (3) weeks of receipt. Priority will be given to those counties that have not met their ACT National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC) goals. 

Applications for this funding will be accepted from public high schools and Workforce Development Boards located within counties participating in the Certified Work Ready Communities initiative.

Payments will only be made to public high schools. Testing must occur between July 1, 2024 and April 30, 2025 and requests for reimbursement must be received within 60 days of testing or May 15, 2025, whichever comes first. No funding reimbursement requests will be accepted after May 15, 2025.

Availability of Funds Notice

It is understood that this award is predicated on the availability of funding from the Office of Workforce Development. In the event that the funds are restricted you will be notified immediately and the award may be retracted.
