The Office of Workforce Development partnered with Coursera during Summer/Fall 2020 in order to help Missourians skill up for free during the economic dowturn caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Coursera offers thousands of courses from top universities and companies. Many programs also provide a pathway to certifications allowing participants to earn an industry-recognized professional certificate.
Missouri job seekers could register for the courses through October 2020.
Coursera helped Missourians:
- Learn in-demand skills in subjects like technology and business that prepare them for today’s job opportunities.
- Utilize an interactive learning experience and be a part of Coursera’s global learning community. Course videos, readings, and assignments are multi-language.
- Work at their own pace with Coursera’s bite-sized sessions and self-paced learning model.
- Earn university-accredited certifications from leading global institutions to boost that resume.
