Our Interiors division is looking for a Maintenance Tooling Technician (1st shift) for its manufacturing plant in Blue Springs, MO.
 
The role of a Maintenance Tooling Technician consists in repairing injection moulds, making preventive maintenance on them and insuring their fiabilisation 
Main missions:
  • Insure the curative maintenance of molds according to the needs
  • Analyze the repetitive breakdowns and propose improvements
  • Participate in the working groups on the reduction of the breakdowns
  • Realize the preventive maintenance of molds according to the schedule and the range planned
  • Participate in the development of new equipments within the framework of projects
  • Participate in the inventory management of supplies related to the equipment

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (3RD SHIFT) - OPE15753


Our Interiors division is looking for Maintenance Technicians on the 3rd Shift for its Blue Springs, MO plant.
The role of a Plant Maintenance Technician is to participate in the Total and Preventive Maintenance (TPM) for all equipment and facilities. 
 
The main missions of the role are to:

  • Analyze mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality
  • Install, repair and maintain all equipment and facilities
  • Try out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime
  • Record operational data, such as pressure readings, length of strokes, feeds and speeds for use in set-up and preventive maintenance records
  • Review production schedule and, when equipment is not scheduled for production, perform scheduled maintenance
  • Participate in Production System Efficiency and Quality System Efficiency workshops to support continuous improvement: propose and implement continuous productivity, process and quality improvement actions for all facilities
  • Facilitate equipment moves on the shop floor
  • Give advice on technical specifications of new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities, making sure manufacturing, maintainability and Health, Safety & Environmental requirements are met
  • Set up requisitions for supplies, equipment and facilities
  • Participate in the management of the inventory of spare parts and consumables to eliminate downtime
  • Keep up to date documentation related to maintenance
  • All other duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will have/be:
  • Minimum of  3 years of maintenance/engineering experience within a fast paced automotive/manufacturing environment
  • Technical diploma, preferably with a specialization in maintenance a plus
  • Proven ability to undertake tasks of substantial variety or complexity which require an extensive knowledge of fabrication/processing techniques, tools, material, machines and equipment
  • Electro-mechanics and automation skills a plus
  • Working knowledge of Quality system and Health, Safety & Environment skills

PRODUCTION OPERATOR - MAN16519

The role of a Production Operator is to produce quality parts to meet  customer(s) and Faurecia standards.

The main missions of the role are to:

  • Follow standard work: role of the operator is to follow and apply the best standards to build part in order to ensure safety, quality and productivity.
  • Attend Daily Shift Meeting.
  • Ensure 100% delivery to customer.
  • Take part and improve effectiveness using Lean Manufacturing methods.
  • Install and maintain 5S standards.
  • Work shifts and overtime as necessary.
  • Responsible for the HSE of all personnel working in the areas including visitors. Ensure health and HSE requirements and procedures are adhered to.
  • Carry out Process to correct Quality and Production Standards within cycle time.
  • Escalate issues to Team Leader/ Shift Leader as necessary.

UAP QUALITY TECHNICIAN

​Our Interiors division is looking for a Quality Technician for its manufacturing plant in Blue Springs, MO.

The main missions of the role are to:

  • Assist production gaps with quality issues, concerns, methods, standards, and related training
  • Lead final inspection evaluations including checksheets, visual inspections, leak testing, CMM analysis, and weld evaluations
  • Monitor and assure proper documentation of QRCIs, and train production associates on quality systems and / or standards as necessary
  • Support other quality-related functions including incoming inspection, development of standard work instructions, surface plate inspection, and drive the Faurecia quality systems to the production floor
  • Follow-up on Quality Alerts and customer concerns to assist Quality Engineering as required
  • Support internal and external audits as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Associates Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Proven quality experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of exhaust systems and related emissions control technologies

PLANT PROCESS MOLDING ENGINEER - MAN16592

The role of Process Molding Engineer is to interface between the production unit and the technical services, ensuring the processing of information and providing technical and industrial solutions. He/she will also be responsible of process definition, process implementation, close follow up to guarantee that process is always inside defined standard, and process training to plant personnel. The Plant Process Molding Engineer must also coordinate productivity actions, leading product modifications within the production unit (engineering change management).

Main duties and responsibilities:


Product Interface:
  • Interface with Product Engineer (R&D) for monitoring the product design during serial life

Process Definition, Plant Process Molding Engineer must contribute in the following ways:
  • Define the reference time and the procedures
  • Perform ergonomic analyzes
  • Define the manufacturing process documents
  • Perform PFMEA

Process Realization
