Unemployment Benefits and Assistance

How to File an Unemployment Claim

Filing and determination of eligibility for Unemployment Benefits is handled by our partners at the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, Division of Employment Security (DES). Questions dealing specifically with your Unemployment Benefits must be directed to DES staff. If you have questions please review the FAQs.

Staff at Missouri Career Centers are available with the resources you may need as you re-enter the job market, including computers with online access to complete your reporting requirements for Unemployment Benefits and job searching activities.
